According to the present invention, a carbon-coated submicron-size positive electrode material can be produced at low cost, within a short period and at low energy consumption by employing a wet-synthesis route and a combustion synthesis route in combination.nThe present invention relates to a method for producing a lithium- or sodium-containing oxoate compound, characterized by comprising: mixing an aqueous solution of a mixture of precursors of a lithium- or sodium-containing oxoate compound with a water-soluble fuel to cause a combustion reaction, thereby forming a gel-like amorphous intermediate complex; and then treating the gel-like amorphous intermediate complex by heating at a higher temperature than the temperature employed in the combustion reaction to produce a carbon-coated lithium- or sodium-containing oxoate compound powder. |
