abstract |
Provided is a flexible and high-strength separator for lithium-ion batteries which has improved tear resistance.nThe separator for lithium-ion batteries is produced from a polypropylene resin, and has a product melt flow rate of 0.1-2.0 g/10 min, a machine-direction Young's modulus of 500 MPa or higher, and a transverse-direction tensile elongation of 500% or higher. The separator has flexibility and high strength that render the separator suitable for use in lithium-ion secondary batteries especially for electric bikes. |
