Provided is a method for producing a polyurethane lens, wherein a polyurethane lens is produced by polymerizing a composition that contains a polyisocyanate compound and a specific highly reactive polythiol compound, and wherein the composition is suppressed in viscosity increase over time and has excellent workability.nA method for producing a polyurethane lens that is obtained by polymerizing a composition that contains (A) a polyisocyanate compound, (B) a polythiol compound that contains a polythiol compound obtained by an esterification reaction of a polyol compound and thioglycolic acid, (C) a polymerization catalyst, and (D) an acidic phosphoric acid ester compound represented by general formula (1) in an amount of 0.001-0.5 part by mass per 100 parts by mass of the total of the components (A) and (B). This method for producing a polyurethane lens comprises a step wherein the components (A) and (D) are mixed and then the components (B) and (C) are added thereto, thereby preparing the composition.n(In general formula (1), R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6-10 carbon atoms; a represents a number of 0-2; and b represents a number of 1 or 2.) |
