The invention relates to the use of ≥ 1% by weight of potassium carbonate, based on the dry mass of a cement-based binder system, for hydrophilicizing the surface of the cured building product produced therefrom. Furthermore, a building product which can easily be cleaned by means of water and has been produced from a binder system comprising from 1 to 10% by weight of potassium carbonate, from 20 to 80% by weight of portland cement and from 3 to 60% by weight of microsilica from zirconium production is claimed. |
