A honeycomb structure (100) comprising a plurality of parallel flow channels (105) divided by porous partition walls (120), in which the cross-sections of the flow channels (105), perpendicular to the axial direction of the flow channels (105), are a polygonal shape having arc shaped corner sections, the plurality of flow channels (105) comprise a flow channel (105a) arranged in a central section (P11) of the honeycomb structure (100) and an other flow channel (105b) arranged further to the outer peripheral side of the honeycomb structure (100) than the first flow channel (105a), and the curvature radius of the corner sections of the other flow channel (105b) is larger than the curvature radius of the corner sections of the first flow channel (105a). |
