The invention relates to a cylinder head (1) of a stationary gas engine with at least two intake channels (1.1, 1.1'), opening at a cylinder head bottom (1.3), and with a valve seat (2, 2') provided for an intake valve in each intake channel (1.1, 1.1'), wherein the valve seat (2, 2') has a center axis (2.1, 2.1'), wherein at least one intake channel (1.1, 1.1') has a bevel (3, 3') with an axis of symmetry (3.1, 3.1') in the area of the cylinder head bottom (1.3), which bevel brings about a tumble flow of the entering gas, wherein a radius (RF, RF') of the bevel (3, 3') forms a radial maximum relative to the center axis(2.1) in a point (M). The invention also relates to a method for producing a cylinder head of a stationary gas engine, in which method a milling tool (6) used for producing the bevel (3) has a taper angle (α) and is applied with eccentricity (E) relative to the center axis (2.1) and/or at an angle of attack (ß) relative to the center axis (2.1), wherein the taper angle (α) is between 100° and 140° and the angle of attack (ß) is between 0° and 10°. |
