abstract Disclosed in the present invention is a method for converting 2D into 3D based on image motion information,which belongs to the technical field of converting 2D into 3D. The method comprises the following steps: S1.obtaining the depth value of each pixel of inputted 2D image based on the method of motion estimation; S2.adding up the depth value of each pixel based on the luminance value of each pixel, and obtaining the depth chart of inputted 2D image; S3.based on the obtained depth chart in step S2, reconstructing the left eye and/or the right eye image based on the depth chart; S4.combining the left eye image and right eye image of step S4 and outputting it, then obtaining 3D image. In the method of the present invention, because of the adding up process to the depth value obtained by motion estimation, the obtained depth chart is consecutive and dense, and the quality and 3D vision effect of the reconstructing image are improved.
