abstract |
Provided are a method and device for determining the overlapped coverage area of neighboring cells, the method comprising: obtaining the first signal of a first radio remote unit of a first cell; obtaining the second signal of a second radio remote unit of a second cell, the first cell and the second cell being neighboring cells; shunting the first signal into a third signal and a fourth signal, the strength of the third signal being greater than the strength of the fourth signal; shunting the second signal into a fifth signal and a sixth signal, the strength of the fifth signal being greater than the strength of the sixth signal; leading the third signal and the sixth signal into the antenna of the first cell; leading the fourth signal and the fifth signal into the antenna of the second cell; and determining that the overlapped coverage area of the antennas of the first cell and the second cell is the overlapped coverage area of the first cell and the second cell. The solution of the present invention ensures that a mobile terminal operating at a high speed in a train can smoothly complete the reselection and handoff between neighboring cells. |
