titleOfInvention | Method for producing iron lithium phosphate, electrode active substance, and secondary battery |
abstract | In the present invention, a mixed aqueous solution is prepared by blending prescribed proportions of a P source such as H 3 PO 4 , a divalent iron compound such as FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O and an oxidizing agent such as H 2 O 2 . Next, this mixed aqueous solution is added dropwise to a buffer solution having a pH of 1.5 to 9 so as to generate a FePO 4 ·nH 2 O co-precipitated powder. LiOH·nH 2 O is dissolved in pure water so as to obtain a strongly alkaline aqueous solution having a pH of 12 to 13, the FePO 4 ·nH 2 O is added to the strongly alkaline aqueous solution so as to cause a reaction between the FePO4·nH 2 O and the LiOH·nH 2 O and produce a LiFePO 4 co-precipitated powder, and this LiFePO 4 co-precipitated powder is then fired so as to obtain a LiFePO 4 fired powder. In this way, it is possible to easily produce a finely particulate, high purity iron lithium phosphate, which is suitable for use as an electrode active substance for a secondary battery, using a simple production process. |
