Organic electroluminescence element and production method therefor |
abstract |
This organic electroluminescence element comprises a first substrate, a second substrate disposed facing the first substrate, an element interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first lead-out electrode formed on the first substrate on a first inner surface facing the element, a second lead-out electrode formed on the second substrate on a second inner surface facing the element, and an insulator having electrical insulation properties. The element has a functional layer that includes a light emitting layer and has a first surface and a second surface in the thickness direction, a first electrode layer disposed on the first surface of the functional layer, and a second electrode layer disposed on the second surface of the functional layer. The element is interposed between the first lead-out electrode and the second lead-out electrode so that a portion of the first electrode layer is in contact with the first lead-out electrode, and so that a portion of the second electrode layer is in contact with the second lead-out electrode. The insulator is interposed between the first inner surface of the first substrate and the second inner surface of the second substrate. |
