abstract A system and method for radiopharmaceutical production involving solid and liquid phase interactions are provided, the system including a module for facilitating solid and liquid phase interactions by performing techniques including high pressure, low pressure, and solid phase extraction. The system includes various modular components, each of which performs steps in the process of preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and one or more radiation detectors monitor the radiation level and path of various products. The modular components may be added to and removed from the system easily to allow for flexibility in the operation of the system. An HPLC module may be included to purify radiopharmaceuticals.
