Novel esterase derived from compost metagenome, and production method therefor |
abstract |
The present invention relates to: a novel esterase isolated from a compost metagenomic library; a gene coding therefor; a recombinant vector comprising the gene; a transformant transduced with the expression vector; and a production method for the esterase. More specifically, the esterase of the present invention exhibits outstanding activity at a pH of between 5 and 10 and preferably pH 8, maintains outstanding esterase activity at from 0 to 60°C, has a high degree of resistance to various organic solvents and has an ability to hydrolyse tertiary alcohol esters, and the esterase of the present invention can therefore be used to advantage in various industries such as biosynthesis catalysts for medicinal products and chemical products. |
