abstract The invention relates to unique propellers with enhanced propulsive thrust. For air and water transport, the advantage of propellers comprised of the proposed airfoils having sharp leading edges is that the entire oncoming flow is directed only onto the rear plane of the blades. To achieve this, the straight-line segment of the front plane of the blade is situated perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the propeller. At the same time, the effect of the flow of a medium, be it water or air, on the front plane is completely eliminated, and propeller thrust is increased by more than twofold. Furthermore, the engine is not subject to such negative phenomena of conventional propellers as flutter, wave drag and propeller cavitation.
