titleOfInvention System and method for transvascular activation of cardiac nerves with automatic restart
abstract A system and method for electrically stimulating the heart muscle to improve heart function requires identifying a site in the venous system adjacent a sympathetic nerve. An electrode is then positioned at the site to electrically stimulate the nerve. In turn, this stimulation releases norepinephrine from the nerve to improve heart muscle contraction.
