titleOfInvention | Method and device for monitoring packet-loss rate based on fpga |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method and device for monitoring packet-loss rate based on a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The method includes: a home end FPGA receiving a message sent by an opposite end FPGA; when the message is a first ordinary message, recording a receiving count value when the first ordinary message is received; when the message is a first protocol message, filling in the first protocol message with the current receiving count value; and calculating the packet-loss rate of a home end link according to the current sending count value, the sending count value last time, the receiving count value last time and the current receiving count value carried in the first protocol message and a pre-set interval time of sending a protocol message. The present invention configures a strategy for generating a protocol message according to the requirement of measuring the packet-loss rate and sends a protocol message measuring the packet-loss rate, reducing the occupancy of bandwidth resources, and also uses the original ordinary messages in the network to record the packet-loss rate of the monitored link without affecting the available bandwidth of the network, reducing the subsequent influence on the network environment, and improving the availability of the network. |
