titleOfInvention Arrangement for topical stimulation of ossification/osteogenesis/soft tissue formation and/or suppression of microbial inflammation, and for osseointegration of implants
abstract The invention relates to an arrangement for topical stimulation of ossification/osteogensis of bones and joints in emergency surgery/ orthopaedics, and for osseointegration in implant surgery. The object of the invention is to provide a possibility by which a therapeutic method for non-invasive detection of real states and gradients in healthy tissue areas can be performed via sensors and topical application of gradients in defective or damaged tissue areas. According to the invention, the object is achieved, in an arrangement for topical stimulation of ossification/osteogenesis/soft tissue formation and/or suppression of microbial inflammation and also for osseointegration of implants, by virtue of the fact that sensors and actuators are present which are arranged in a defined basic arrangement around a bone defect, tissue defect and/or neuronal defect and which detect bioelectrical, biomechanical, biochemical and/or biothermal endogenous signals, which are delivered to a signal-processing system in order, finally, to cause the actuators to topically apply bioelectrical, biomechanical, biochemical and/or biothermal energy in the form of fields, impulses and gradients for suppression and/or stimulation.
