titleOfInvention | Organic electroluminescent element and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | The present invention is capable of preventing decreases in light emission efficiency due to electron and hole penetrations through a light emitting layer that are caused by irregularities in metallic members, and provides: an organic electroluminescent element with dramatically improved light emission efficiency and durability, and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic electroluminescent element has: a pair of electrodes comprising a positive pole and a negative pole; a light emitting layer between the pair of electrodes; metallic members with an average height of 20 nanometers or more on the light emitting layer side and located adjacent to at least one of the electrodes, and an adjacent layer with an average height of 15 nanometers or less between the metallic members and the light emitting layer. |
