abstract |
A transformed Jatropha curcas plant designated as NANDAN-18, having high seed yielding capacity with more number of inflorescences per plant and producing only pistillate flowers with altered morphological characters. A method of producing said plant by transformation using an isolate of a novel wild Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain harboring oncogenes in its T-DNA region is also disclosed. |
