abstract |
The present invention relates to a culture medium for maintaining the stemness of human embryonic stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells, wherein the culture medium comprises, in a basic medium thereof: one or more materials selected as stemness-maintaining agents from a group consisting of a protein kinase C inhibitor; a histone deacetylase inhibitor; and a bone morphogenetic protein pathway blocker. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for culturing human embryonic stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells using said culture medium under xenopathogen-free and feeder cell-free conditions while maintaining the stemness of human embryonic stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells. |
