Organic electroluminescence element |
abstract |
An organic electroluminescence element (1) is provided with: an organic layer (4) arranged between a first electrode layer (2) and a second electrode layer (3); a light extraction layer (5), arranged on at least one surface of the first electrode layer (2) and the second electrode layer (3), for altering the orientation of light; and a substrate (6) arranged on the light extraction layer (5). The light extraction layer (5) includes a base material (50), and light diffusion particles (51) at 1-5 wt% of the base material (50). This configuration allows the light extraction layer (5) to be a single layer, makes it difficult to generate gaps at the boundary of the base material (50) and the light diffusion particles (51), and enables improvement of efficiency of light extraction. |
