The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous secondary battery separator having excellent adhesion to an electrode, capable of ensuring sufficient ion permeability after adhesion to the electrode, and provided with an adhesive porous layer having a uniform porous structure and sufficient mechanical properties to withstand hot pressing. This nonaqueous secondary battery separator is: provided with a porous substrate and an adhesive porous layer that contains a polyvinylidene fluoride resin and is formed on at least one surface of the porous substrate; and characterized in that the porosity of the adhesive porous layer is 30-60%, and the average pore diameter thereof is 1-100nm. |
