The present invention provides an electronic device that becomes an electroluminescence element that generates light at a high brightness. Specifically, the present invention provides an electronic device that has, as a charge introduction layer and/or charge transfer layer, a layer comprising a polymer compound having one or more structural units selected from the group consisting of structural units represented by formula (1) and structural units represented by formula (14). (In formula (1), R 1 is a specific monovalent organic group, R 2 is a specific monovalent organic group, and m2 is an integer between 1 and 3. When there is a plurality of R 2 , each can be the same or different. The hydrogen atoms in formula (1) can be substituted by substitution groups other than R 1 and R 2 .)
