abstract A light-reflective anisotropic conductive adhesive for use in anisotropically electrically connecting a light-emitting element to a wiring board, the adhesive comprising a thermosetting resin composition, electroconductive particles, and light-reflective insulating particles. The light-reflecting insulating particles are particles obtained by treating the surface of titanium oxide particles with one compound selected from the group consisting of Al 2 O 3 , SiO, SiO 2 , ZnO, ZnO 2 , and ZrO 2 . The light-reflective insulating particles have a titanium oxide content of 85-93%. The light-reflective insulating particles have a particle diameter of 0.2-0.3 µm, and the electroconductive particles have a particle diameter of 2-10 µm.
