Provided is a conjugated block copolymer that is capable of morphology control and that can achieve superior conversion efficiency. In a portion of the chemical structure of the π-electron conjugated block copolymer, a polymer block (A) comprising a monomer unit having a heteroaryl skeleton of a dibenzogermole, a dibenzogermole, a carbazole, fluorine, and a thiophene, and a polymer block (B) comprising a monomer unit similarly having at least one heteroaryl skeleton are contiguously or non-contiguously bonded. Polymer block (A) is a homopolymer block of a monomer unit having a substituent group R nA that is an alkoxy group or an alkyl group having 1-18 carbon atoms, and polymer block (B) is a copolymer block of a monomer unit having differing substituent groups R nB selected from an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an amino group, a thiol group, a silyl group, an ester group, an aryl group, an alkyl group having 1-18 carbon atoms and optionally substituted by a heteroaryl group, or an alkoxy group. |
