Provided are: polyethylene resin foam particles having good productivity, which are obtained by foaming polyethylene resin particles for foaming that are capable of having high expansion ratio, and which are suppressed in reduction of cell diameters; and a polyethylene resin in-mold foam molded body which is obtained using the polyethylene resin foam particles and has good surface smoothness, while being reduced in yellowing of the surface of the molded body. The polyethylene resin foam particles use a polyethylene resin composition, which contains one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of antioxidants, metal stearate salts and inorganic substances in an amount of 1,000 ppm or more but 4,000 ppm or less in total, as a base resin. The polyethylene resin foam particles have a Z-average molecular weight of 40 × 10 4 or more but 70 × 10 4 or less, an average cell diameter of 180 μm or more but 450 μm or less, and an open cell ratio of 12% or less. |
