The present invention provides a sugar-immobilized polymer substrate for removing viruses, said sugar-immobilized polymer substrate enabling efficient removal of hepatitis virus or the like from a body fluid, and a method for removing viruses. In the case of applying to blood of a living organism, in particular, the present invention provides a sugar-immobilized polymer substrate for removing viruses, said sugar-immobilized polymer substrate enabling removal of hepatitis virus or the like with low invasiveness, i.e., needing only a small amount of the blood to be taken out from the body and removing little useful blood components, and also enabling shortening of the operation time, and a method for removing viruses.nA hollow fiber membrane according to the present invention is usable as a module that has a function of efficiently removing viruses and a function of not removing useful plasma components. |
