In this organic EL display device (100), an insulating layer (113) is configured from a first insulating film (113a) and a second insulating film (113b) that is the layer above the first insulating film (113a); a plurality of upper electrodes (115c) are provided in a manner so as to respectively cover a plurality of organic EL layers (115b); and between the first insulating film (113a) and the second insulating film (113b) corresponding to the region (N) aside from a light-emission region, a reflecting film (114) is formed that, towards a sealing substrate (120) in a manner so as to be visible as a sealing-substrate-side display by being caused to pass through a partition (116) and within the sealing substrate (120), reflects light of the light-emission by the organic EL layers (115b) that has diffused to the region (N) aside from the light-emission region. |
