The problem is to provide a method for evaluating the presence of rheumatoid arthritis using a novel biomarker set. This problem is solved by a method for evaluating the presence of rheumatoid arthritis comprising a step for obtaining, from a biological sample of a person to be tested, information relating to the amount expressed of SLC16A4 as the first biomarker and the amount expressed of at least one second biomarker selected from the group consisting of SLC02B1, PTPRM, SHB, and ATP9A, and a step for evaluating the presence of rheumatoid arthritis in the person to be tested on the basis of the obtained information relating to the amounts expressed of the first and second biomarkers. |
