abstract The present invention relates to a two-photon fluorescent probe, and more particularly, to a two-photon fluorescent probe, to a method for manufacturing the two-photon fluorescent probe, and to a method for imaging zinc ions within a mitochondrion using the two-photon fluorescent probe. The two-photon fluorescent probe according to the present invention injects two probes into one molecule to selectively dye the mitochondrion and also to react with zinc ions, thereby generating intense fluorescence. Thus, the distribution and activation of the zinc ions within a mitochondrion in a living cell or soft biological tissue may be imaged.
