abstract Provided is a method for inducing an anti-apoptosis effect and/or an anti-necrosis effect in a living cell in a simple manner and with good regulation performance without requiring the administration of any drug.nAn alternating-current voltage is applied to a living cell in such a manner that a current of 25 to 75 μA inclusive can flow, whereby an anti-apoptosis effect and/or an anti-necrosis effect can be induced in the living cell. The living cell to be used may be a cell in culture. The alternating-current voltage may apply to a loading member on which a container including the living cell is mounted.
