abstract Disclosed is a method for building models in layers, in which a first material and then selectively a second material are both applied in layers in a model-building area, and said two application steps are repeated until a desired model has been obtained. When mixed at a suitable ratio, the two materials form a solid body, the first material comprising a particulate material and the second material being applied using a print head. The first material, the second material, or/and the particulate material comprise/s one or more diamines or/and one or more dicarbonyl compounds as binders.
