When an engine start control and an automatic transmission downshift control are performed together, the respective controls are performed at appropriate timings so as to suppress speed-change shock. When the engine start control and a downshift control of an automatic transmission (18) are performed together in response to a request for increasing the drive torque during EV travel, changing of a transmission input rotation speed N IN to a post-speed-change synchronization rotation speed N IN a is started upon completion of engagement of an engine engaging/disengaging clutch (K0) as a start point. Thus, the completion of engagement of the engine engaging/disengaging clutch (K0) is taken as a rise of a transmission input torque T AT , so that a downshift (inertia phase) can proceed in response to the rise of the transmission input torque T AT following the completion of engagement of the engine engaging/disengaging clutch (K0). |
