| abstract |
Disclosed is a method for implementing a Packet Switched (PS) service between a roaming user and a home location. The method comprises: when a PS service needs to be performed, using a Gateway General Packet Radio Service Support Node (GGSN) as a proxy to forward signaling and data packets, and implementing the PS service between a roaming user and a homed GGSN (HGGSN). Also disclosed is a system for implementing a PS service between a roaming user and a home location. The method and system of the present invention can improve network security and perform centralized network maintenance, thereby reducing maintenance costs and optimizing the network. |
