Disclosed here is a method for preventing and controlling infectious diseases in decapods by: introducing decapod seedlings into high salinity seawater at an introducing amount of 80,000-100,000 seedlings/Chinese acre, and when the decapod seedlings have been farmed for 10-30 days with each having a body weight of 0.3-0.7 grams, introducing therein Epinephelus coioideses with a body weight of 0.10-0.15 kg/fish at an introducing amount of 15-20 fish/Chinese acre. The probability of healthy decapods being eaten is very small, therefore it solves the problem of low survival rate of healthy decapods, and at the same time, effectively prevents and controls the infectious diseases in decapods by having Epinephelus coioideses eat up diseased and dead decapods in a decapod farming pond. |
