Nonaqueous electrolyte solution and use thereof |
abstract |
Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution which is used as an electrolyte solution for a nonaqueous secondary battery and capable of improving the discharge rate characteristics of the battery. The nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a nonaqueous solvent and a BF 3 -cyclic ether complex. The BF 3 -cyclic ether complex is contained in an amount of more than 0 part by mass but less than 1 part by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the total of the other components of the electrolyte solution. Preferable examples of the BF 3 -cyclic ether complex may include a BF 3 -tetrahydropyran complex and a BF 3 -dioxane complex. |
