abstract The invention relates to a disposable respiratory mask (1) in the form of a shell, comprising a body (2) and elastic straps (3, 4) secured to the body (2). The mask body (2) includes a nose region (11) provided with a projection (14) having a longitudinal axis of symmetry. Moreover, the body (2) is formed by at least two layers of material, including at least one layer of filter material. In addition, the mask includes a flexible web (10) formed by at least one layer of a material such as a non-woven fabric and secured to the lower part of the edge of the mask body (2) in the nose region (11). Said partition seals the nose region (11) at least over the entire height of the projection (14) and comprises an elongate opening (12) substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the projection (14).
