abstract |
Provided are an anti-fogging article having excellent anti-fogging properties, durability such as abrasion resistance and peeling resistance and an excellent appearance, and a method for producing the same. An anti-fogging article has a substrate and an anti-fogging film on at least a portion of the surface of the substrate. The anti-fogging film comprises an undercoat resin layer and a water-absorbing resin layer laminated in that order on the surface of the substrate. The water-absorbing resin layer comprises mainly a first curable epoxy resin obtained by reacting a first polyepoxide component, which is obtained by combining a low molecular weight polyepoxide having a molecular weight of 200 to 800 with a high molecular weight polyepoxide having a molecular weight of 900 to 2000 at a mass ratio of between 30:70 and 70:30, with a water-absorbing resin layer-forming composition that contains a first curing agent; and the undercoat resin layer contains mainly a second curable epoxy resin obtained by reacting a second polyepoxide component with an undercoat resin layer-forming composition including a second curing agent, and exhibits lower water absorption than the water-absorbing resin layer. |
