abstract The present invention is an extract for preventing or treating rare and intractable diseases of the human body, wherein the extract is obtained from the common octopus, longarm octopus, webfoot octopus, and/or squid which are quickly frozen, or obtained by performing hot-water extraction on the common octopus, longarm octopus, webfoot octopus, and/or squid for 24 to 48 hours at a temperature of 60 to 80°C in purified water (H 2 O), the amount of purified water is at least three times the amount of common octopus, longarm octopus, webfoot octopus, or squid. 150 mL or more of the extract obtained from the frozen mollusks or from the hot-water extraction may be administered to those who suffer from rare diseases on an empty stomach three times a day.
