Newcastle disease virus and the use thereof as a vaccine |
abstract |
The present invention relates to new Newcastle viruses of any genotype and new fragments of the genome of the Newcastle disease virus that encode for the F and HN proteins - constructed through reverse genetics and recombination - of high antigenicity for the preparation of vaccines for the prevention of Newcastle disease by reducing viral excretion or for the use thereof as vectors with other viruses in a lyophilized form or emulsified in oil. Likewise, it can be used as a vector in combination with other pathogenic agents. |
