In one embodiment, an oral appliance is provided. The oral appliance comprises at least one housing configured to releasably attach to at least a portion of the upper and/or lower teeth or jaw, the housing further comprising at least one pressure sensor associated with the housing and configured to measure one or more forces applied to the housing during use of the appliance and acquire data indicative of use of the appliance.
