Provided is a PET-MRI device (100) according to an embodiment wherein a magnetostatic field magnet which is a continuous structure generates a magnetostatic magnetic field (1) within a cylindrical bore. Additionally, a first detector unit (13a, 33a) and a second detector unit (13b, 33b), formed in ring shapes, detect gamma rays emitted from positron emitting nuclides which are projected at a subject. The first detector unit (13a, 33a) and the second detector unit (13b, 33b) are positioned with a gap therebetween in the axial direction of the bore such that the magnetic field center of the magnetostatic magnetic field is sandwiched therebetween. |
