abstract The present invention is directed to a composition and method thereof for reducing or eliminating malodors produced by decaying arthropod cadavers comprising an effective amount of one or more entomopathogenic fungi. The invention provides a novel way to eliminate the malodors stemming from pest control methods as traps and chemical pesticides are frequently used to control pests and pest associated diseases in restaurants, commercial hotels, motels, and residential housing.
