The pest control composition contains: a fused imidazole compound represented by formula (1) (In the formula, A 1 and A 2 represent a nitrogen atom or the like, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , and R 4 represent a halogen atom or the like, R 5 represents a C1-6 chain hydrocarbon group or the like that may be substituted with a halogen atom, R 6 and R 7 represent a halogen-substituted C1-4 chain hydrocarbon group or the like, and n represents 0 or 1.); and at least one type of pyrethroid compound selected from a group consisting of esfenvalerate, fenpropathrin, fenvalerate, alpha-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, etofenprox, lambda-cyhalothrin, permethrin, tefluthrin, and zeta-cypermethrin.
