titleOfInvention Pin dispensing device
abstract The invention relates to dentistry and can be used in the obturation of tooth root canals. The pin dispensing device comprises a housing with a cartridge for pins, which is mounted in runners in the housing, and a pin separating mechanism. The pin separating mechanism comprises a drum which is provided with longitudinal grooves that correspond to the diameter and length of a pin. The grooves are arranged uniformly over the outside cylindrical surface. A channel with a push rod is arranged parallel to a channel with a piston. An opening which is equal to the maximum length and diameter of a pin and communicates with the channel for the piston is arranged between the cartridge mounting runners. A dog is fixed to the push rod. In the upper position, the longitudinal grooves in the drum coincide with the outlet opening of the cartridges. In the lower position, the longitudinal grooves coincide with the opening in the housing between the cartridge mounting runners. In cross section, the cartridge has the form of a rectangle which becomes a truncated cone which in turn becomes a rectangle with a width equal to the diameter of a pin. The technical result of the invention consists in increasing the ease of use, increasing the period over which the pins maintain sterility and expediting the treatment.
