Provided is a new prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent against lymphedema, for which until now there has been no effective means of treatment. The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent against lymphedema contains, as an active ingredient, a compound represented by formula (1) (in the formula, R 1 represents an organic radical, X represents -CH 2 CH 2 - or -CH=CH-, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or alkyl radical), a lactone derivative thereof, or a salt of the compound or the lactone derivative. |
