abstract The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing immunity by inducing the expression of interferon-β containing compounds represented by chemical formulas 1-8, or a Sophora Flavescens extract containing the same,nand using a fraction thereof as an active ingredient, a feed additive, a feed composition, a pharmaceutical composition, a food composition and a quasi-drug composition which contain the same, and a method for enhancing immunity by administering the composition.According to the present invention, the composition for inducing the expression of interferon, containing compounds represented by chemical formulas 1-8, or a Sophora Flavescens extract containing the same and a fraction thereof as an active ingredient can prevent, improve or treat diseases which can be prevented or treated by increasing interferon expression.
