titleOfInvention | Seed holder for tree species |
abstract | The invention comprises an open-topped receptacle (1) having a wall (2) made from organic or inorganic matter. The receptacle is provided internally with: a substrate (3), at a lower level, bearing fertilizers, water and organic elements such as spores or phytosanitary substances; a honeycomb area (4) above the substrate (3), intended for the implantation of the seeds; and, above the honeycomb area, a wide area or empty space (5) for the development of the plantlet following germination of the seed. Consequently, once the seeds have been implanted in the honeycomb area, the seed holder can be immediately transported to the location planned for the full development of the tree and implanted in the soil, without any problem despite the long distances travelled. Moreover, both the seeds and the subsequent plantlet are maintained fully protected from environmental agents surrounding the device and under optimum germination/development conditions. |
