titleOfInvention Method and system for relay node acquiring radio access network information of heterogeneous system
abstract Provided in the present invention are a method and a system for a Relay Node (RN) acquiring Radio Access Network (RAN) information of a heterogeneous system. A heterogeneous system acquires RAN information of one or more heterogeneous system cells requested to acquire by one or more RNs, and transmits the acquired RAN information to a Base Station Subsystem General Packet Radio Service Protocol (BSSGP) proxy through an RAN Information Protocol Data Unit (RAN Information PDU); the BSSGP proxy reads RAN Information Management (RIM) information in the RAN Information PDU, and performs a match in a locally preserved corresponding relationship between the RIM information and the RNs; and the BSSGP proxy transmits the corresponding acquired RAN information to the successfully matched one or more RNs. With the present invention, the RAN information returned by the heterogeneous system can be routed correctly to the corresponding RN.
