titleOfInvention Fluorescence observation device
abstract To easily count the number of ACFs without missing the presence thereof and shorten the observation time, provided is a fluorescence observation device (1) including: a light source unit (40) that is introduced in a body cavity of a living organism and irradiates an inner wall of the body cavity with excitation light; an imaging unit (20) that captures fluorescence generated by exciting a fluorescence probe with the excitation light emitted from the light source unit (40), the fluorescent probe having fluorescence characteristics changed by reaction with iNOS present on the inner wall of the body cavity or reaction with NO produced by activation of iNOS; a position control unit (30) that moves the light source unit (40) and the imaging unit (20) relative to the inner wall of the body cavity; and a counter (72) that counts the number of sites where fluorescence is generated in the image captured by the imaging unit (20).
