| abstract |
The invention relates to a composter of aquaculture animal byproducts not intended for human consumption (SANDACH). Said composter provides clean, safe and efficient treatment of small amounts of waste (up to 0.5 m 3 ) generated by normal mortality in aquaculture facilities. The composter consists of a series of connected static elements (1, 3 and 6) and mobile elements (2, 4 and 5). A mixing shaft (4 and 8) is located along the entire length of the device and an aeration system (3) is provided. The composter further comprises controls (7) for humidity and temperature and other computer-controlled parameters of the process. |
